WORSHIPFUL MASTER ERIK MARSHALL
WILLIAM T. WALLACE, devoted son of the late George and Josephine Wallace, and husband
of the late Fannie V. Wallace, was born May 29, 1890, in Calvert County, Maryland, where he
received his early education. Having been reared in a Christian home, he became a member of
Brooks Methodist Church at a very early age.

As young man, he moved to Baltimore City and became affiliated with John Wesley Methodist
Episcopal Church, which was under the patronage of the late Reverend Ernest Lyons. He served
dutifully as a member of the Trustee Board, the Golder Cross Society and as an Assistant Class
Leader. He loved his church and remained a faithful member through the years. He attended
regularly until he became ill and unable to attend.

In 1917, he was united in wedlock with Fannie Veney. The Lord blessed this union with three
sons; Thomas W., Joseph A., and Harold E. Brother Wallace also had five foster children.

William T. Wallace was affiliated with many masonic organizations. He was a Past Master of
Joseph L. H. Smith Lodge No. 54 F&AM, (PHA); honorary member of Corinthian Lodge #62,
Jerusalem Lodge #59, King Solomon #7, Mount Horeb Lodge #24, William F. Taylor #57, St.
Johns Lodge #5, Mount Moriah Lodge #56, and Tuscan Lodge #90. He served as Grand
Lecturer for many years and was elected Deputy Grand Master under the late Grand Master
Willard W. Allen. He served as High Priest of Keystone Chapter #10, Royal Arch Masons, and
was elected Grand High Priest of Hiram Holy Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons, (PHA) and
Past Emminent Commander of the Emmanuel Commandery #4, Knights Templar.

He was a member of Jerusalem Temple #4, AEAONMS (PHA), Hiram Consitory #2, and the
United Supreme Council of the Thirty-third degree, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (PHA),
Past Patron and Life Member of Eureka Chapter #11, Order of the Eastern Star, Past Joshua of
Emmanuel Court #4, Heroines of Jericho, and a member of Eureka's Pride Ways and Means.

He was especially proud of the William T. Wallace Lodge #134 of Severn, Maryland, which had
been named in his honor. William T. Wallace was highly respected by his employers, his family,
his church, his fraternity, and his community for his quiet and efficient manner and friendly
relationships.
